A review of our organization's accomplishments in 2007. ¤ First Year to have a formal budget and operate within it. ¤ Revised Bylaws. ¤ Applied and received 501(c)(3) (Non-Profit educational organization) status. ¤ Published a Cookbook - Sales in the black. ¤ Recieved Two first place awards at the State Conference. ¤ Showcased MG Leaf Pro at Texas Extension Service Agents Conference ¤ Received a 500 plant donation ¤ Completed two very successful Plant Sale 2 sales ( thanks to Rhonda Hanks) ¤ Introduced WCMG T- Shirts (we now all have a coordinated look) ¤ Membership passed 100 members. ¤ Invited to host site tour for the State Conference in April 2008 ¤ Agreed to present a program on Grant Writing at the upcoming State Conf. in 2008 ¤ Applied for major Grant (and feel pretty confident that we will be accepted) ¤ Installed Automatic water system Demo Garden and East trellis ¤ Developed an Approved Continuing Edu. Fund. that will be implemented next year ¤ Delivered 40 educational Outreach program / (presentations)
