Junior Master Gardeners in Taylor County The mission of the Junior Master Gardener Program is to grow good kids by igniting a passion for learning, success and service through unique gardening educational opportunities. The Junior Master Gardener Program is an international youth gardening program and is coordinated nationally by twenty-eight Universities through the Cooperative Extension Network. The Taylor County Junior Master Gardener Program is coordinated by the Taylor County Extension Office, Texas Cooperative Extension which is part of the Texas A & M University System. Jr. Master Gardeners' Hands On Learning Nelons' Budding Gardeners Serving the Community Nelson's Budding Gardeners, a local JMG group at Nelson's Boys and Girls' Club, visit Meals on Wheels and donate herbs they have grown to be used in the Thanksgiving dinner.
