ROCKDALE--SIGN UP. The Butterfly Garden at Veterans' Memorial Park is now titled.

Milam County's Little River Basin Master Gardener Association established the butterfly garden in June 2005, and on Friday, placed a sign identifying the patch. Master Gardeners cultivate a variety of low water, low maintenance, native, sun-loving flowers fancied by butterflies in the park's southwest corner.

The next Master Gardener class will be in January, 2008. Anyone wanting to enroll may contact Texas Cooperative Extension in Cameron.
