Individual Knowledge Development...
Master Gardener's also participate in educational activities and programs to enrich their knowledge base. Hare Master Gardener's are some of the participants in a program dealing with management of fire ants.

Volunteerism...
Master Gardener's encourage others to take an active part in volunteer projects that will benefit all and make the quality of life better in our communities! The Old Marshall City Park renovation project, is a great example, over 150 volunteer and groups turned out to plant thousands of trees, shrubs and other plants in one day!

Fundraising...
Picture 2007 Bulb Sale
Fundraising to help pay for program expenses, such as program speakers and supplies, as well as a future scholarship program, are important to the association as well. Here, Master Gardener's are hosting a bulb sale during the Annual Marshall Home & Garden Show.

Working With Our Youth...
Picture Kids Group
Master Gardener's also assist with many youth programs. Future plans are to start a Junior Master Gardener program though the local Boys & Girls Club in Marshall. Here, youth are taught about butterfly gardens during the Annual Marshall Home & Garden Show.
