 The Cherokee County Master Gardener program is an educational and volunteer program offered by the AgriLIFE Extension Service of the Texas A&M University System. It is open to people of all ages, regardless of socioeconomic level, race, color, sex, handicap or national origin. The program is designed to increase the availability of horticultural information and extend horticultural projects throughout the community. These goals are implemented through the training and employment of local volunteers known as Master Gardeners. |
What is a Master Gardener?
Master Gardeners are local volunteers in your community who work with the Texas Cooperative Extension to increase the availability of horticultural information and improve your communities quality of life through various horticultural projects. |

The Texas Master Gardener of Texas activities are coordinated by AgriLife Extension. Texas Master Gardener programs serve all people regardless of socioeconomic level, race,color,sex,religion,disability or national origin.
