Purpose and Vision of VCJH Student Support Center:
The Student Support Center exists to provide needed support for students with a variety of needs at Valley Christian Junior High School. In partnership with parents and teachers, JH students are given support when needs arise. Students referred to the Student Support Center for academic intervention are held accountable to use their school planner effectively, complete homework, and turn in their homework assignments on time. Periodic accountability check-ups include examination of current grades and communications with teachers and parents. The Student Support Center also provides guidance and support in social, emotional, and spiritual issues as it relates to their education at VCJH. We work closely with the Junior High faculty and administration to promote an optimum experience for all VCJH students.

The Student Support Center is privileged to support students and their families. The goal is that each student becomes all that God intends. In keeping with school philosphy and focus, we strive to love and know Jesus Christ personally. We encourage students to do their God-given best following what the scripture says,

“Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.”
Colossians 3:23-24
