2008 Texas 4-H Roundup

College Station, TX - Each year an estimated 1,800 youth from around the state of Texas travel to Texas A&M for competitions in Fashion Show, Consumer Decision Making, Entomology, Poetry, Singing, Skits, Animal Judging, Illustrated Talks and Method Demonstrations. Marion County should be very proud of our representative Eva Love Hall who preformed an illustrated talk against 18 other competitors and placed 5th. Eva worked exceptional hard for more than a year for her achievement in College Station. Her talk was on Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome a condition that affects over a million people here in the United States alone. "I watch most of the other talks and they were exceptional good, but Eva really stood out because of her organization and knowledge of the topic" said Brock Fry County Agent 4-H and Youth Development.
