Food Show Scheduled for December 5
All Food Show entries must be submitted to the Extension Office by November 30 at 5 p.m. This year's District Food Show theme is Serving a Friend in 2010. All 4-H members interested in Food & Nutrition are encouraged to participate. Clover Kids are also able to enter and will receive a certificate and prize. While Clover Kids are new, we try to make it fun. They will be asked questions by the judges (which will usually be two teen leaders) and will not be scored. Furthermore, questions will be simple such as, "What was your favorite part of making your snack?".
At this time we are currently seeking judges for the event. Should you know of any judges to recommend, please contact Agent Shelley Pappas at 281-342-3034, ext. 7007.
