Welcome to the Harrison County Master Gardener Association web site! Harrison County is located in beautiful East Texas. We are on the state-line with Louisiana, half-way between Longview, Texas and Shreveport, Louisiana.

Harrison county was selected to host a Earthkind Rose demonstration site in 2007. The roses were planted on May 25, 2007 and will be included as a part of one of the tours during the 2009 Texas Master Gardener State Meeting!!

The Harrison County Master Gardener's Association will play host for the 2009 Texas Master Gardener's Association. The dates are April 23-25, 2009. Make plans to join us for some great East Texas hospitality and see some of the great natural horticultural wonders that we are famous for! For the first time, we will also be holding an Earthkind Rose Workshop the day before the conference! More information is forth coming...
