 The Hunt County Master Gardener program is an educational and volunteer program offered by AgriLIFE Extension of the Texas A&M University System. After 66 hours of instruction in botany, soil science, entomology, plant pathology, turf grass, fruits, nuts, and berries, vegetable gardening, etc., Master Gardeners volunteer over 3,000 hours per year to the Hunt County Community. 2007 marks the 11th year of the Hunt County Program, which has been recognized locally and on the state level for outstanding educational programming. The program is designed to increase the availability of horticultural information and extend horticultural projects throughout the community. |
