TRAINING SCHEDULE
This segment will be at the Texas AgriLife Extension Building in Angleton.

Part 1 of 2
--- One-Hour AT --- The Classroom segment of this Advance Training will answer these question:
  • How do I relocate the "cactus patch" that I am monitoring in Barron Rector's Cactus Moth Study?
  • Where did I leave the car?
  • Where am I at now?
  • Where is the restroom?
  • How do I get to the _______ (car, restroom, cactus patch...) from where I am at now?

    and, Oops! my buddy just fell down and sprained his/her ankle ... I have my cell phone but when I make a call for help ( e.g., 911 ) how do I tell them where we are?

    Note: this way YOU can stay with the injured person while waiting for help to arrive!
  • Part 2 of 2 --- One-Hour AT --- The Practical segment of this Advance Training will show GPS usage.

    This segment will be at Bates Park in Angleton: Southside of Hwy-35, 1/2-mile East of Hwy-288

    Note: We will have GPS-Coordinates ( and, a Map showing how to get there ) in the Classroom segment
